Kitchen Fest concerts are a camp and community favourite and tickets are included with registration. They are also open to the public for enjoyment, with admission at the gates. After concerts on Monday and Tuesday, square dancing and round dancing is held in the hall for all to enjoy!
On Wednesday, we still have an amazing Instructor concert, but after that, we take a break for visiting and jamming… but on THURSDAY we host the KLKP Family dance from 7 – 9:30, including a late lunch for all to enjoy… just like the old days on the prairies! Get all dolled up and join us for the fun.
Kitchen Fest begins at 7:00 each night of camp (except for the Friday Student Showcase at 1:30 ), and typically lasts 2 hours. They are followed by jamming, campfires, dancing and fellowship, and festival attendees are welcome to stay on site until 11pm, at which time the facility is closed.
KitchenFest is hosted at the Kenosee Lake Boys and Girls Camp in Moose Mountain Park. Regular Provincial Park Admissions apply. You can see our location on the map below, or just follow the red signs as you drive!

The facility runs a small canteen, selling pop, popcorn, and various other treats that are available for purchase , and KLKP sells instructor merchandise for them, (we do NOT take a percentage) so you can support the artists directly. There will also be one featured local artist and food vendor each night, something that is new as of last year!
Don’t forget to bring a comfy chair, warm clothing, mosquito spray and a blanket. We are outdoors and some nights can be very chilly!
